Forces From Funen Take Root in Copenhagen

Muladhara – The Root Chackra Garden

This year, Juliana from Funen has collaborated with other talented individuals to create an exceptional show garden. Landscape architect Janne Fuglsang, with roots in Morud, has designed the show garden with the exotic name 'Muladhara - The Root Chakra Garden'.  The garden aims to create a space that evokes a sense of grounding and rootedness. Janne describes the role of the greenhouse in the garden: "The wooden greenhouse further stimulates a sense of security, where the dense scent of soil, tomatoes, and spices can be experienced with hands in the soil while working with cuttings and plants. The greenhouse provides the opportunity to cultivate tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, chili, and much more''

The round space in front of the house is adorned with trees and perennials, providing both shelter and a sense of protection. The show garden is being constructed by Anlægsgartner Skov Larsen ApS from Odense.

There are many sensory experiences to be had in this show garden. We encourage visitors to walk through the garden barefoot to enhance the feeling of grounding and physical connection to the earth. We are truly excited to share the joys of greenhouse gardening at our booth and to engage with the visitors about both greenhouse living and the special moments in their own gardens.
